So, I’ve got a broken fridge. Made arrangements for a service call. Arrival window came and went, nobody showed up or contacted me. Here’s the follow up:

me: uh, I had a service call scheduled for yesterday. technician was no show, no contact.

them: ok. let me look at your account. sir, your appointment is tomorrow.

me: uh, nope. I’ve got confirmation from the chat where I booked the appointment and a text you guys sent to confirm it.

them: ok. let me look at your account. oh! I see, the scheduled technician was sick so they rescheduled.

me: sigh. I’m kinda annoyed that I sat around for the whole 8 hour arrival window with no notice.

them: sorry, please complete this customer support satisfaction survey for me.
