How do you get a full sheet of 5/8″ drywall home from Home Depot when you’ve got a midsize sedan?
Well, if you need the full sheet uncut, you’re probably out of luck. But, I only needed pieces 37″ wide.
So I cut the sheet into trunk compatible pieces right in the Home Depot parking lot. Manhandling the full sheet onto the cart alone was slightly challenging, but everything else went fine.
Surprisingly, I’d venture to say they were my straightest drywall cuts ever, even factoring in that I was using 2×4 as a straight edge.
