Ingredients:

1 Beef London Broil (size doesn’t really matter, as long as it fits flat in your crockpot)

Mmmm, half moons!

Oddly enough, they go by Black and Whites around here, but the person behind the counter knew what I meant when I asked for half moons. Kinda prices at $4 each, but mostly worth it.

Finally tried NITRO Pepsi

I finally got around to making some last night. Nothing scratch made (Wegmans
waffle mix and frozen chicken bites), but yum, none-the-less. Not sure I’ll be

the A Man, A Can, and A Plan cookbook. It was a little hard to adapt,
because the raspberry pie filling in the original recipe doesn’t need to be
cooked, raw apples do. My idea to boil off the apple’s cooking juices into a
glaze soaked through the tart too much, but despite being a sloppy mess was
actually super tasty.

Bacon Bacon Bacon

Yep the Bacon Method in action again.

A Little Overdone

Got distracted and my Bacon Balsamic Brussel Sprouts spent a little too much
time in the oven. A little crispy, but still tasty none-the-less.

Winged the recipe this time. Prepped bacon via the Perfect Bacon Method,
recycled bacon grease to cook halved brussel sprouts. Added a little more
olive oil and couple of shots of good balsamic vinegar. 30 minutes in the oven
at 400° F. Probably should have pulled them at 25 min, or maybe same time at
350° F instead.

5 for 3

3 jumbo eggs yielded 5 yolks. crazy.

So what's a Salted Caramel Mocha like?

I’ve been pondering what the Salted Caramel Mocha at Starbucks would be like. Today, (after another many time cat interrupted night of sleep), I decided to give one a shot.

Picked a couple on the way home from work last night. I had the sausage/apple, it was very good. Sandy had the roasted mushroom. I had a bite of hers and that was also dynamite as well. Size-wise, they’re comparable to a personal flatbread from unos. 2 pizzas was $19.42. Thumbs up.
