Site Updates 20261009

My and my pal Claude mad some updates to the site:

• Added a new logo. That was mostly Claude’s doing. I sicked him on my current blog contents and said what do you think? It got most of the way there with only a few prompts.
• Added new favicon to match the logo. As much as I like my mug, I kinda got sick of seeing in my my Mastodon and RSS feeds over and over. Guessing other folks did too.
• Refined header and footer a bit. Now uses the same stylized font everywhere.
• Changed the dominant highlight color from blue to green to coordinate with logo.

Lighthouse thinks the updates look pretty good:

The minor nit on performance is that server isn’t doing compression on the fly. Not sure if that’s worth fretting over.
