1password: Stopping Autosubmit on Login Forms

A lot of web apps I use are doing tricky things when you enter your username these days and the fire and forget autosubmit feature in 1password ends up failing. I was pretty sure there was a way to turn off the autosubmit feature but after digging around in 1password preferences for a while, I couldn’t find it.

So I asked my pal Gemini for hand. Turns out that preference is not in the 1password app, but in the 1password browser plugin.

So, just toggle Sign in automatically after autofill off and that’s one less mild annoyance to have to deal with over and over.
