Finally!

Finally got around to replacing the very perished ear cups on my 10+ year old Bose QC-2 headphones.  I found some after market replacements for a paltry $13.  After getting them in hand, they’re virtually identical to the original cups, and very comfortable.

Was worried that it was an involved process, but turns out its pretty idiot proof, as this video demonstrates:
